Textile Materials Modified with Stimuli-Responsive Drug Carrier for Skin Topical and Transdermal Delivery

چکیده
Textile materials, as a suitable matrix for different active substances facilitating their gradual release, can have an important role in skin topical or transdermal therapy. Characterized by compositional and structural variety, those materials readily meet the requirements applications specific therapies. Aromatherapy, antimicrobial painkillers, hormone therapy, psoriasis treatment, atopic dermatitis, melanoma, etc., are some of areas where textiles be used carriers. There versatile optional methods loading biologically onto textile materials. The oldest ones exhaustion, spraying, pad-dry-cure method. Another widespread method is microencapsulation. modification with stimuli-responsive polymers perspective route to obtaining new improved multifunctional properties intelligent response. In recent years, research has focused on structures such dendrimers, polymer micelles, liposomes, nanoparticles, hydrogels. Numerous functional groups ability encapsulate define dendrimer molecules promising carriers drug delivery. Hydrogels also high molecular hydrophilic that modify material. They absorb large amount water biological fluids support delivery medicines. These characteristics correspond one current trends development namely production i.e., allow controlled concentration time substance simultaneous visualization process, which only achieved appropriate purposeful

Skin electroporation for transdermal and topical delivery.
Electroporation is the transitory structural perturbation of lipid bilayer membranes due to the application of high voltage pulses. Its application to the skin has been shown to increase transdermal drug delivery by several orders of magnitude. Moreover, electroporation, used alone or in combination with other enhancement methods, expands the range of drugs (small to macromolecules, lipophilic ...

متن کاملStimuli-responsive Hydrogel for Drug Delivery
Introduction Hydrogels have been extensively investigated as drug delivery carriers in biomedical applications. The stimuli-responsive hydrogel is generally created when an ionic monomer is incorporated into the hydrogel network, in which the charged group is formed and called fixed charge since its mobility is much less than that of freely mobile ions within the interstitial fluid. In this stud...
متن کاملInnovative Strategies for Enhancing Topical and Transdermal Drug Delivery
Abstact: Historically, the skin was thought to be a simple homogenous barrier. However, it is now known to be a highly specialised organ, and plays a key role in homeostasis. The protective properties of the skin are provided by the outermost layer, the epidermis, which safeguards against chemical, microbial, and physical attack. The exceptional barrier properties of the skin result in it being...
متن کاملDrug crystallization - implications for topical and transdermal delivery.
INTRODUCTION Crystallization of actives in skin following topical application was suggested by studies in the 1950s and 1960s but is poorly understood. In contrast, the problem of crystallization of actives on skin and in transdermal formulations has been known for many years. AREAS COVERED With respect to crystallization in skin, this review describes early reports of a skin 'reservoir' and ...
